In an undeveloped site within the metro area of the city surrounded by suburban developments, we proposed the creation of a new local downtown that could provide a focal point of activity to the development itself as well as to neighboring areas. The priority was to integrate the complex road network surrounding the site and the access to local public transit systems. From this integration, we created a new natural crossroads point to become the center of a new central district that prioritizes walkability and a high density of uses and services.
